When Will My Order Arrive?

DOMESTIC/CANADIAN DELIVERY: Orders shipped via Surface will normally arrive within 3-10 business days from receipt of order. Orders shipped via 2-Day will normally arrive within 2-3 business days from receipt of order. Orders shipped via 1-Day (domestic only) will normally arrive within 1-2 business days (no Saturday delivery) from receipt of order. Alaska and Hawaii orders will be shipped via 2-Day. Puerto Rico and all U.S. Protectorate orders will be shipped via 2-Day using either UPS or Priority Mail; expect 1-2 days extra transit time to all U.S. Protectorates. Canadian 2-Day orders will be shipped via UPS International Express Canada. For Print-on-Demand titles, allow an additional 1-2 days for paperbacks and 3-5 days for hardcovers.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY: Orders shipped via Air will normally arrive within 10-15 days from receipt of order. Orders shipped Courier will arrive 2-5 days from receipt of order.

Domestic surface orders of $15 or less will be charged a flat $4.00 shipping fee.
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and all U.S. Protectorate orders can only be shipped 2-Day.

There are no shipping charges associated with journal subscriptions.

Taxes and Customs

Sales tax is applied according to shipping address.

DOMESTIC DELIVERY: All applicable sales taxes for purchases of books and related materials are calculated based on local sales tax rates, and will be added to your order at checkout. Sales tax must be applied to delivery charges in the following states: California, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

CANADIAN DELIVERY: Wiley pays Revenue Canada directly for GST and adds the applicable charge to your order. All entry fees are waived.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY: Shipping costs do not include any duties, taxes, or clearing charges levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and will vary from country to country. We cannot predetermine what the charges will be. The charges may be billed directly to the customer by the destination’s customs authority, or may be billed to the customer through John Wiley & Sons. We suggest that you call your local customs office if you would like more information on customs duties in your country.

Our Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with a product purchased from John Wiley & Sons, Inc., return it within 30 days of receipt for a replacement copy or a full refund, with the exceptions noted below. Wiley will reimburse the cost of shipping for returns of any item sent in error.

Except for books that are received damaged or in error, Print-on-Demand titles are not returnable.

E-books are non-refundable and non-returnable.

When returning products, please include a copy of the invoice in the package with the returned product(s). Be sure to send by traceable means.

Shipping to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses

At this time, Wiley cannot ship web orders to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. If you cannot provide a street address, please Contact Customer Care to order via phone, fax, or mail.

Print-on-Demand Titles

Certain products are Print-on-Demand titles, as indicated on their information pages. These titles are printed specifically for each order Wiley receives. Print-on-Demand products are not returnable, and require extra time for printing. Customers ordering a Print-on-Demand product should allow 1-2 days for a paperback and 3-5 days for a hardcover above and beyond the standard quoted shipping times.
