There is a quiet revolution under way in many areas of student services. New system implementations are accelerating the pace of these changes. In offices such as the bursar, comptroller, and financial aid, and to some extent even admissions, the nature of the work and the expertise needed int these areas are chnaging. At the moment, most senior administrators and faculty are unware of these trends and their implications.
