KAGAN is recognized nationally and internationally for her work in the care and education of young children and their families, and is senior associate at the Bush Center in Child Development and Social Policy, Yale University. BERNICE WEISSBOURD is widely known as an initiator and leader of the family support movement. She is founder and president of Family Focus and the Family Resource Coalition and a lecturer at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration.
