Community college curricula must address thinking, analytical skills, values clarification, and related thinking skills in order to ensure that graduates have the skills needed to successfully face the challenge of work of further education. This volume of New Directions for Community Colleges considers ways in which high-level thinking skills can be integrated with content and taught across institutional disciplines and means by which instructors and admnistrators can become involved in these efforts.
